from the ages 17 to 18 i spent a lot of time at local shows. despite only being 23 at the time of writing this-- i feel a sense of nostalgia for this time. while i went to school in the suburbs, i spent my weekends at peoples basements and warehouses in san francisco. and i can still go to shows now but it's not the same.
